What Do You Like to See in a New Topaz Moment?

1. Add some control of .jpg compression and/or provide Help information about the default compression so users know what is being used.

2. Add some information to Help about exactly what noise suppression, auto levels and auto color are doing to make choosing settings better informed. Even users who know a lot about these as I do, don't know just how Moment is doing these things, making setting choices arbitrary and hit or miss.

3. When using the settings for capture and review in an image viewer (Image Sent To... setting), the image viewer window open directly on top of the Moment screen after each capture. The upper right corners overlap so the X of moment is just below the X of the viewer window.. When closing the viewer it is easy to make an error and also close Moment. Its not hard to re-start and re-find the place where you stopped making frame captures and resume from there. But on restart the capture counter goes back to 1 (as it should), so there is a new Filename_0001.jpg. If you forget about this, the next successive saves are added to the same folder where there are already files with those name/numbers. Without any warning, the new files replace old files with the same names. If you are far into a video making serial captures, you can loose hours of earlier work this way and have to start over. There needs to be the usual warning about about to overwrite existing files.

4. Related to 3. On re-start with the same video, would it be possible for Moment to detect that the same video is loaded and have a setting for Start From Last Video Position, just as there is a Start From Current Position when doing Batch caps?

5. Must the little "Enhancing Still Image" window open up exactly on top of the center of the player window? When making caps manually, I would like to see that I am capturing the right frame so I can cancel immediately if necessary. Allow it to be dragged to a position where it will open on the next capture.

6. I've used Moment for years, like it and would not want to be without it. The current user interface works for me. But overall I'd love to see more image enhancing features and more control over them. sure, its greedy! more ! more!
