Woderful balance aid
I have a TrekPod Go Pro. My wife got it for me for our anniversary. (I am tough to buy a gift for.) I have been a photographer for 30 years, but was diagnosed with MS in 2007 and have problems with balance. The TrekPod Go is perfect for me. I get the balance support I need plus a great tripod for taking pictures. Yes, I still try to go out and get exercise by walking in the woods and getting pictures during those walks. The staff works so much better than using a cane to get around. Thank you TrekTech for gining my mobility back to me.
The only issue I have found is with the rubber protective feet on the tripod legs. After spending $300 on the pod I wanted to make sure it lasted for a good long time.
My solution was to split open a racket ball and tightly fit the pod into the ball. It gives additional protection to the tripod feet while in the hiking mode. I was also a Quality Engineer for 20 years and have always looked for ways to protect my investments from damage or uninteded abuse on my part.
Thanks again TrekTech!
