Allow Carousel To Pass Login Credentials In Order To Access Secure Intranet Sites
Currently, my server can not access our internal intranet's web pages and rss feed since Carousel will not pass my login credentials when trying to create a web page snapshot or a rss feed/bulletin. The interactive bulletins from the intranet display just fine but often I only need a specifc image or portion of the page rather than the whole thing. It would save a lot of time if we could pull this information directly from the source rather than have to manually create a bulletin.

Inappropriate?Josh,
I've flagged it as a great idea and will continue to harass the devs. ;)

Inappropriate?Hey guys...
We're discussing how best to accomplish this. Turns out it's a rather difficult problem because there are multiple forms of authentication that we would need to support. Some are easier than others, and some are downright impossible. Now multiply that by the various ways we fetch data from websites. Tricky stuff, honestly.
It's definitely on our shortlist though, so when we come up with some solutions, or if we have questions on how people would use it, we'll post again on this topic.
Rest assured, though... we do want to solve this problem, we just need to figure out how. :-)

I’m sure we'll find a solution

Inappropriate? So Josh, I did a little experimenting with your problem and came up with this:
