twitbin very often stalls firefox momentarily
Ever since I started using Twitbin, I've noticed that Firefox will hang very often during the day. To test my theory that it was Twitbin that was hogging resources (or causing the problem for whatever reason), I stopped using it temporarily, and Firefox didn't hang at all during that time. So, what do I mean by "hang"? Basically, the Firefox window will freeze for a few seconds, and then continue on. It's very frustrating. I love the way Twitbin looks and am hoping I don't have to give it up, but if it keeps this up, I may have to.
Any workarounds?
System: Ubuntu 8.10, Firefox 3.0.7

Inappropriate?Yes, me too. V2 onwards is quite a resource-hog, pegging my CPU at 100% whilst it is refreshing.

Inappropriate?I don't know why it'd cause Firefox seize up but then I've only got twitbin and have had it running about 30 minutes so far.
I'm running it on Firefox 3.0.7 on an Ubuntu 8.04 OS on an old Inspiron 600m laptop, and so far no seizing, freezing, or hang time for me...I do have to say after watching my system monitor for about 15 minutes it did tend to spike my cpu usage close to but not quite to 100% everytime twitbin refreshed.
Like I said I haven't been using twitbin for long (or twitter for that matter) so there might be some connection between how many people you are following or even your on hardware's capabilities, I'm sure that someone with a super comp wouldn't have any problems.
Anywho I hope everything works out for you.
