All of my followers gone?

we are having the exact same issue -- we just lost all 100 of our followers suddenly, since last night when they were definitely there. account @greenlivingidea . Little help, Twitter?

Same happened to me. An hour ago I had 160+ followers. Now I have 12.

Maybe everyone just hates me suddenly?

this is work-related which makes it slightly more annoying since we had around 200 followers... I don't want to go through finding and following a bunch of people again.

They are probably not really gone though because when I click 'home' the feed of all the people I am following still works.

A tip for the meantime: If you go to http://twitter.com/yournamehere, you can probably still see the thumbnails for all the people you were following. I'm keeping that page open just in case this doesn't get fixed quickly -- that way, I still have access to links for all of my people, and I can re-follow them if necessary without having to do a search for each one.

Phew! I had 500+ followers and I was following 300+. Now I have 188/187??!!!!

Same thing with me. All of a sudden everyone is gone. I've tried in Firefox and Internet Explorer. What's the deal?

Looks like it's a big problem for lots of people. I'm sure it'll be fixed someday

Yeah same problem had 400 + followers and was following 380 or so, now i have 40 and 28. Although on my icons of the people I am following there are clearly more than 100!

Guys, the main thread appears appears to be elsewhere. Twitter support has asked for additional info.

suddenly am just being followed by 4 ppl who started following me now..
my previous contacts all disappered!! though am recieving tweets frm ppl whom i was following previously and who follwed me earlier.. whts wrong!!!! ?? i guess this is a hack!

I don't have any followers or followed. I have not validated a device ever. Username: ericbalasbas. I tried to reply to the "Followers and Following are all gone - when will this be fixed?" thread but Firefox, IE and Safari lock up with 100% CPU utilization when I try to open that page.

Guys, my follows/followers list is still screwed up. I was up at about 120/50, and now I'm down at 5/7. My username's talideon. Any ETA?

According to Google Cache I should have 517 followers. I currently have only 483!

I'm having the same issue and my boyfriends was wiped totally clean. :( not cool

All of the people i am following got deleted and now says i am following 0 people. I tried to add people back and they just get deleted again. People also follow me are not showing up and haven't all day even though I have been getting emails all day saying i have new followers...WTF?

Dan, there's a Known Issue up on Twitter's help portal that seems to match the problem that you're describing. Twitter is asking people who are experiencing this issue to leave a comment on that known issues page so they can collect more info.

I lost all of my followers too.

This happened to a bunch of my accounts yesterday - I am having to delete my accounts, reinstate them and then update the passwords.

Very frustrating.. Any idea what happened and how to avoid it from happening in the future?

That seems like a pretty big bug on Twitter's part and it was first reported over 2 months ago.. Any idea what causes this to happen?

no clue but it used to happen all the time. now it just happens like once every 3 months...
