I'm still getting this:
Error while loading page from Twitter
There are still a few kinks Facebook and the makers of Twitter are trying to iron out. We appreciate your patience as we try to fix these issues. Your problem has been logged - if it persists, please come back in a few days. Thanks!
Even though Twitter is marking the issue as resolved! -
Inappropriate?I am having the same problem. Every time I click on the Twitter app in Facebook I get the page of Mex's code preceded by the following. (I also apologize for the error dump)
All I want to do is have Twitter update my Facebook status with my Tweets.
I know that this is possible, but I can't get anywhere because of these code pages.

Inappropriate?I'm still getting the error.
-
Inappropriate?I'm still getting the error.
-
Inappropriate?I just installed the twitter app and I can't change my status. I also get code when I click on the app
I’m disappointed
-
I dumped this application and downloaded TwitterSync. Now my status updates perfectly and so does my mini feed. If that's all you're after (updating FB from Twitter not the other way around, it's perfect and it actually works) http://apps.facebook.com/twittersync/ -
Inappropriate?I just saw someone else who's status message said "Twittering" and had a status change. Is that something that has to be set up in the application? (the one we're clicking on and getting code)
I’m courious
-
One of my friend's status this morning was "Twittering" and had a change as well. I know she is using an app called TwitterSync. Does anyone know about this? -
Inappropriate?I'm still having this problem as well - despite the two comments that say it has been fixed. Is there something that we need to do like uninstall/reinstall?
I still click on the Twitter app and get the page o' code.
I’m disappointed. I want this to work.
-
I swtiched to TwitterSync this morning. All I care about is that twitter updates my status and my mini feed (from my phone) TwitterSync did this perfectly. http://apps.facebook.com/twittersync/ -
Did you uninstall the Twitter app before installing TwitterSync. I'm *this close* to doing that, but didn't know if I needed the Twitter app or not. -
Yes, I killed the Twitter App first. You don't need it. -
Inappropriate? It's still happening for me too. Get a really long RFacebook callstack after entering my Twitter username/password. This has been broken since I first added the app on Sunday.
Removing/readding the application didn't help.
I’m devastated

Inappropriate?I updated my status on Twitter earlier and my Facebook status was left unchanged. This happened about 3 hours ago
I’m frustrated
-
If you just want to update Facebook from twitter (ie status and mini feed) you might like TwitterSync better. I am using it instead of TwitterApp. So far it has worked perfectly. http://apps.facebook.com/twittersync/ -
Try http://apps.facebook.com/twittersync - remove the Twitter app and try installing this instead. You need to give it your password if your Tweets are public. -
Inappropriate?i only realized when i saw my status wasnt updating and i do everything through twitter now.
I’m annoyed
-
Inappropriate?Ok - thanks for the updates. We're investigating the problem again.
-
Inappropriate?yeah...still not working for me either. Works on myspace and blog, but no dice on facebook. thanks for looking into it
I’m slightly bugged
-
Inappropriate?Same here, though I was initially getting updates to write across during the period of call dumps, even they've stopped now.
I’m irritated, but not mortally
-
Inappropriate?my twitter-app doesnt update the status, so it still holds the one from may 2nd, and yes, i ́ve hade av few status updates since then...
-
Inappropriate?yeah for me it's the same. on facebook doesn't works... doesnt update the status...
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? It seems to break once i've written a tweet for a while and then works - its almost like it dies when it tries to update the facebook status with my newest tweet.
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?yep... not working for me either... that's how i ended up in here... looking for answers. thanks for any help!
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? No Facebook updates here either. All of my other sites(blogger, MySpace, JTV) are all updating fine.
I’m waiting for a solution
-
Inappropriate?this is the whole reason i use twitter and its not working :-(
I’m not using twitter until its fixed
-
Inappropriate?OK...after having the same frustration that everyone else has been having, I tried the one thing I didn't earlier...and not only does Twitter now update my Facebook status, but it doesn't insert the annoying "is twittering: " before my status message! Here's what I did:
1. In Facebook, go to the Applications column (left side) and click the "edit" button so you can get an alphabetical list of the apps you're running.
2. Remove the Twitter app.
3. LOG OUT OF FACEBOOK. (This was the step I never tried earlier!)
4. Go to http://twitter.com/badges/facebook and click the "Install Twitter in Facebook" button.
5. You will be taken to Facebook, and asked to create an account. Don't worry, just log in with your information in the left (blue) column.
6. Then, just follow the directions to install the application. Of course, you must authorize the app to update your Facebook status without notifying you.
7. After a few tense seconds...the app should be installed successfully!
8. Use the large box at the top of the now-running app to update your status. Once you've submitted it, a yellow box with text in it (just below the box you typed in) will tell you that your status was updated (sorry, the wording is different, but it basically tells you it succeeded).
9. Click the Facebook icon to go to your home page and see if your status was updated--mine was! I also tried updating from Twitter.com and my phone...and all is right again with the universe!
And as I mentioned before, there's no more "is twittering: " before my status message!
Good luck, and DON'T SKIP STEP 3!
I’m finally satisfied!
-
Inappropriate? Its working now without needed to remove it, but the no more 'is twittering:' is annoying, as it still adds the 'is', so it becomes 'user is [tweet]', and makes it read strange.
Can't we have it as an option to add 'is twittering:'?
Or, just have a colon, 'user: [tweet]'
I’m not bad at grammar!
-
Inappropriate? It has started working for me too. Word "twittering" removed. Incredibly annoying. Don't these guys check this stuff before going into the wild? Perhaps some punctuation would have been better like ":".
I’m thankful its working. But issues remain.
-
Inappropriate?I'm with Steve Farr, but I'll take what I can get. As my friend 'traumleben' says, something is better than nothing!
I’m happier than I was yesterday!

Inappropriate? We believe the app should now be fixed - please let me know if it's not working for you.
On the "is twittering" removal: We were asked by Facebook not to automatically include text in the status update that users did not enter themselves. Also a lot of people were really annoyed by the "is twittering" inclusion since the day we introduced it. So now we include just the update.

Could you add the option to include the text "is twittering" back? Possibly with a check box in the options area. If it is off by default and I have to enable it I don't think facebook would mind.
I'd like to have something in there added in. A Colon : or something. My updates look nonsensical most of the time because my name is added in front.

Inappropriate? My facebook status was updating in perfect synchronization with my tweets till sometime yesterday (6/4/08)...now it seems like it doesn't get my tweets. I uninstalled and logged out and reinstalled the app. Are there still known problems? If so, I haven't experienced them at all, not even once, until yesterday...
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? Also had my Facebook app stop synching yesterday. Today I get error messages when I click on the app in Facebook.
-
Inappropriate?I'm seeing it, too. Tried reinstalling with the same issue.

Inappropriate?Twitter posted a status update on Jun 12 on the Status Blog.
They seem to be aware that the problem still exists.
The relevant excerpt:
Facebook app: currently broken for many users, we need to rework some of the core functionality of the app to bring it back in a stable way.

Perhaps it's working now...?
