Inappropriate?I think that the easiest way to post a link is to just copy and paste it or to use a bookmarklet called Lizzer. It's a free tool that you can simply open when you're at Twitter.com.
From there, you can search through all sorts of services (web, images, videos), find what you want, and then insert with one click.
A nice part of the service is that it automatically shortens the link, so you can make the most of your 140 characters (the Twitter limit).
