New user follower notification not going away

I constantly have a '1 new follower request' notification on top of the list of people I follow. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/25510353...)

When I click on it, I get a page with no follower request .... (see here http://www.flickr.com/photos/25510353...)

Would it be possible to get rid of that false notification?
