Odd Parenthetical Messages
Whenever I follow using my cell I get these messages with parens at the beginning talking about traffic in some place I've never heard of before.
Example,
(sgaccidents): 08:55 Accident on TPE towrards SLE before Tampines Ave 10 Exit.
How do I get those to stop so I can follow via SMS and not get spammed anymore?
Thanks!

Inappropriate? It may be that you are tracking a keyword. If you enter "track traffic" as a tweet, you'll get notified whenever the word "traffic" appears in a tweet -- that anyone sends out (people you don't follow). Is there one keyword that perhaps keeps appearing these messages? If so, you can enter "untrack traffic" or something similar.
You can find out more about tracking here, if you're interested: http://blog.getsatisfaction.com/2008/...
I’m hoping this helps

Inappropriate? Those are definitely track alerts, since the sender's name is in parenthesis. That's how Twitter indicates that it's not an update from someone you're following.
You can get a list of all keywords that you're tracking by sending 'track' from your phone.
Twitter's FAQ page on Tracking is also a good place to get more info.
I’m in a good mood
