Twits following someone who's not there.

Why am I getting notifications that I am being followed, but there is no record of my e-mail address in the Twitter files? I've been trying to get some sort of response from Twitter, but the only thing I get is a form e-mail saying I need to sign in to get help. If I'm not in your files, how the heck am I supposed to sign in?
