Update
Hi guys, this is a bug we're working on fixing. It looks like it's not affecting everyone all the time, but it is still a frequent problem that's preventing many people from importing their contacts. We're closer to having a fix, and I'll post an update here when we've got it taken care of. Thanks for your patience in the meantime!

STILL NOT FIXED - it's been like this for a week now. The Twitter response on this has been really below par. -
nope, its not -
yeah i just joined and i couldn't add my gmail contacts -
It most certainly is not fixed. -
still there; I think its related to your CGI gateway -
still not fixed. -
THis is not about Jason's reply, but about Crystal's reply which I cannot get to open again. Crystal wanted to know what I was doing (entering email and password, and observing "loading contacts" on screen), error message (unable to find contacts). Using windows XP. Don't know why I got answer block for Jason vs. for Crystal. -
Hey, I hear FEMA is hiring if this whole Twitter thing doesn't pan out for you. -

Inappropriate?Fwiw, the Invite contacts from Gmail process worked fine for me when I tried importing contacts from a Gmail account with a small address book (less than 5 contacts).
But I also encounter the "this method requires a post" error when I have Twitter connect to a Gmail account that has over 1000 "suggested contacts".
The expected behavior:
After Twitter finishes importing my contacts list, it should show me a page that lists all the Twitter users it found amongst my contacts. On that page, I can select the users that I want to follow and submit my choice.
The actual behavior:
Twitter imports my Gmail contact list. Then (either after the import or perhaps because the import failed), I get taken to a page with the URL https://twitter.com/invitations/invit...
And instead of showing me the list of Twitter users it found, I see a page with the error message: "This method requires a POST" (as depicted in briantw's screenshot above).

Forgot to mention: Firefox 2.0.0.16 on Vista -
Inappropriate?Didn't work for me either.
I'm not at all keen to give out email passwords in the first place.
Even more worrying when your software doesn't fill me with confidence after I have done so.
You have to earn my trust. You aren't there yet, despite me 'taking a risk'.
I’m concerned that you have dodgy software playing with my security credentials
-
Fwiw, I make it a habit to change my email password to a temporary, throw-away password before I let any third-party service or site access it. Then after it's done with the invite process, I change the password back to my usual password. This way, I never have to wonder or worry. 8-) -
Inappropriate?Hmmm - ok, we will take another look.
-
I too have had problems accessing Gmail add a friend functionality from the word go. Please fix arrrrghh! -
Inappropriate?I just signed up.... when I try to look for friends on my gmail account, I just get a "webpage can not be found"
-
Inappropriate?I still get this response:
https://twitter.com/invitations/invit...
The same thing happens when I try to add hotmail contacts. -
Inappropriate?Still having this problem - I've been a member of Twitter for about a week and I've tried to import my contacts about 5 times and I keep getting this error. Still not fixed, despite what the rep is saying.
I’m really frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Well it is good (NOT) to see that I am not the only person with this problem. The difference is that I have tried numerous times with my MSN account so obviously the twitter import utility is broken.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?I see where twitter is supposed to be monitoring these posts, you'd think they would fix this. Actually I really don't want my entire address book posted I don't think sears.com would appreciate it so they should give us the capability of selectively adding names.
I’m defeated
-
Inappropriate?I too have tried to import my Gmail contacts that might have twitter to no success :( It goes to the pages which says 'This method requires a POST'
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? It worked for me when I created my Twitter account an hour ago. Now I get the POST message too when I try to add more friends.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?I'm also having the exact same problem.
-
Inappropriate?Don't work for me either.
No luck with my Gmail Contacts.
Please fix this bug -

I’m really, really cranky
-
Inappropriate?Hi guys, we're trying to reproduce this bug so we can fix it once and for all, but we're not able to, so we need your help.
If you're still having this problem, can you please describe what happened when you tried to load your contacts, listing the steps you went through, when the error occurred, and what the error said? Please give your browser information and operating system as well.
Thanks!
Crystal

Sure, happy to. I get to the "Find & Follow" tab, enter my email username without the @gmail suffix, and then select Gmail from the drop-down. Then I enter my password as prompted. I press enter and within a second a new page pops up with the aforementioned error message. I have tried this with hotmail and yahoo as well and they all have the same result.
I created the account this Saturday, so it is new.
I use Firefox 3, latest build, up-to-date, Windows XP SP3. The error is the same "This method requires a POST" with "POST" in captial letters.
maybe try creating a new account and going through this process might replicate the bug. some of the older Twitterers aren't having the issue, so if there has been an architecture change or something it might explain? -
thanks jess, what is your user name on twitter? -
mojocat. the email i signed up with is mojocat@gmail.com if that helps. :) -
I have the same as mojocat just that after I press enter a page appears with swirly animation and the message "We're loading your contacts" and then once the page has fully loaded I get a blank page with only "This method requires a POST" in the upper left hand corner. I also have Firefox 3.0.1 and XP fully updated.
This happens for both my gmail and Yahoo contacts -
Inappropriate?1.) I click on "Find & Follow" in the top tool bar.
2.) I enter my email, select "@ gmail", and enter my password.
3.) Click "continue >>"
4.) I am then taken to "https://twitter.com/invitations/fetch_contacts" where it has the loading circle and says "We're loading your contacts.
(It might take a bit longer if you're popular.) "
5.) Then the page reloads to "https://twitter.com/invitations/invite_contacts?skipped_to=1" with a blank white page that says "This method requires a POST."
That's it.
I am running Kubuntu Linux and using Firefox 3.0.1, though I have the same issue in Konqueror 3.5.9. The only difference is Konqueror gives me an error message right before the above Step 5.
"The page you are trying to view is the result of posted form data. If you resend the data, any action the form carried out (such as search or online purchase) will be repeated."
Like I said before there is a total of 99 contacts in my Gmail address book.
Thanks for your help.
I’m anxious
-
what is your user name? also, when you enter your email address, do you put the entire address, like "crystal@gmail.com" AND select gmail from the drop down, or do you only put the account name, like "crystal" without the @gmail? -
Sorry, I leave just the first part of my email address. I leave off the "@gmail.com". -
Oh, my account is about 3 months old. I'm just starting to use it now though. -
Sorry, my username is runawayoctober. Email is runawayoctober@gmail.com -
Inappropriate?It's still broken.
1) go to the find& follow page 2) enter myusername, select Gmail, and type password 3) It says "we're loading your contacts..." 4) After a few seconds in Firefox I get this message "This method requires a POST." If I use IE I get a blank IE message "This page cannot be found"

I’m confused.

"This method requires a POST." -
what is your twitter user name? -
Inappropriate?I am running Windows XP, and Firefox browser.
From my Twitter homepage, I click on "Find and Follow"
Enter my gmail user name and password.
The screen says that it's loading, and it may take longer if I'm popular.
Next, I get a page with this URL - https://twitter.com/invitations/invit...
And it says This method requires a POST.

Sorry. My user name is: elonje and I am in Sweden, Europe -
sorry, My username is grandslacker. It doesn't appear to be relevant as regular GMAIL users have this problem too but I'm actually using google apps and therefore enter jzw@vistua.com and select "gmail". I seem to recall this previously worked for me at the same address. -
Crystal, Can you guys at Twitter solve this or do I have to start a new account and try again? -
Inappropriate?I have Windows XP, and I'm running FireFox 3.0.1
I'm going through the same process as Paula. I can't get it to work with Gmail or AOL, but it will work on Yahoo.
My screen name is stacy1977

Inappropriate? My hotmail and gmail account are having the same issue, same order as the others above.
My screen name is barefootdancer. I use Mac OSX and Firefox.

Inappropriate?Signed up for twitter a few months ago
Tried to import my gmail contacts today (aug 11) at https://twitter.com/invitations
It took me to https://twitter.com/invitations/fetch... for a few seconds, then "This method requires POST"!
twitter username matt_hughes
using Firefox 3.0.1, winxp
EDIT: tried again at 6:15pm eastern and it says "Hmm... you don't have any email contacts. No big deal, you can search for people later. "
(I have 249 gmail contacts)
I’m frustrated
-
commenting 25 days after matthew's post and i'm having the same problem still. whenever i try to import my contact from my main gmail account I get "Hmmm. you don't have any email contacts. no big deal, you can search for people later." it IS a big deal. i HAVE email contacts. why won't this work? i'm on a mac and using safari. -

Inappropriate?I'm having the same issue - I'm on Vista, I've tried in Firefox 3 and IE 7 - same deal. I fill out my login details, select "gmail" from the drop down... get the loading page, then get redirected to https://twitter.com/invitations/invit... which displays "This method requires a POST".
I can provide a HTTP dump of the requests if this would help.
My username is "JamesCrowley"
-
Inappropriate?I also tried this in IE7 and it gave me a HTTP 400 error on https://twitter.com/invitations/fetch...
I have tried this with my hotmail, gmail, and yahoo mail accounts with the same results.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Followed the same steps as outlined by pretty much everyone else here. I have tried using various OS and browsers (see list below) and all display the exact same behaviour.
Twitter ID: bawdo
RHEL3 - FF 2 & FF3
RHEL5 - FF 2 & FF5
Gentoo - Opera 9.5, FF 2 & FF3
Mac OS X 10.5.4 - FF 3
The final page I'm redirected to is:
https://twitter.com/invitations/invit...
The entire source code for this page is as follwos:
This method requires a POST.
Regards, Bawdo
I’m not impressed.
-
The fact that that is the sole content of the source-code strongly suggests that this is an internally generated server error notification. -
Inappropriate? It still did not work. I have not been able to get it to work in Firefox, Konqueror, Epiphany or any other browser on any operating system.
However the image below shows an error message that Konqueror gave me, I did not get this message in any other browser but it suggests that for some reason some script you are running is resubmitting a "GET" CGI request to a CGI program that was expecting the "POST" method to be used
**EDIT** I forgot to mention that my username is "grandslacker" and For what its worth I'm a user of "google apps" not gmail proper, thus I enter jzw@vistua.com, (no spam please), and select "gmail", previously this worked but it doesn't seem to be working now. Is anyone else here using Google Apps?
As for Twitters inability to duplicate the problem might I suggest that, possibly, just possiblty the bug only occurs if accessed from the public internet, I.E. not from within the twitter lan/vpn. I'd be a bit surprised if that is how you are set up but it seems like its' worth a shot. I had a similar problem where I configured a web-app to look up a private IP number instead of a hostname which resolved to the private IP within my network and to the public IP outside the network (via NAT) it took me forever to trace the problem and figure out what the terse "host not found" message that resulted from trying to login from say an Internet Cafe indicated
**END EDITS**

Yes, I also try using my google apps mail account - putting katie@runawayoctober.com into the email box and selecting @ gmail.com - and I get the exact same error message and process. -
Inappropriate?I go through the exact same process and get the same results as Katie. I am using Windows XP, firefox 3.0.1 and my username is bettafish00. It may be interesting to note that this problem showed up after I set up a mobile device. Could be a coincidence.
-
Inappropriate?1.) I click on "Find & Follow" in the top tool bar.
2.) I enter my email (only the name portion, not the @gmail.com portion), select "@ gmail", and enter my password.
I tried this in Firefox. (Sorry, I'm not as software lingo savvy as most of you) I don't know which version it is. But, as I read through this, it seemed everyone who was on FF was having problems. So, I tried it on IE. It went through some of the same mess, but when I would load the page that wanted you to put in your e-mail name, it said this page has some secure and non-secure portions. Do you still want to download it? I said yes. Then, after step 4 above, it takes me to a 404 Error page. It suggests I typed in the address incorrectly or that I should reload the page. If I try to reload, I just get the same error message.
It doesn't work on either, but I'm getting 2 different errors.
Would appreciate your help.
Thanks.

Inappropriate?Im on Firefox 3.0.1.( PC. AMD processor. )
I try to import my gmail contacts. I login and it goes on to say fetching contacts and then it writes "This method requires a POST."
the adress is changed to
"https://twitter.com/invitations/invite_contacts?skipped_to=1"
I also tried in IE 7
IE 7 says:
HTTP 400 BAD REQUEST -
Inappropriate?I have two Twitter accounts: I can import from Gmail in one but not the other. (Each Twitter account is associated with a separate Gmail account).
The first account was set up some time ago (as was its Gmail account) and imports from Gmail fine (user: Citizensheep).
The other was set up five days ago and won't import from Gmail (tried in Firefox and Safari, MacOSX 10.4) (user: citizenship).
Could the problem be to do with how and when a user's Twitter account was set up? Or maybe when the Gmail account was activated?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I did manage to get my gmail contact list once on the page but when I tried to access the same page again, it gave me the "POST" error message.
I would like to bring to the Twitter Support's notice that could it be possible that some kind of Firewall at our end be causing this problem. As I am accessing the net from my company office and they do have a firewall which does have restrictions like no downloading allowed, can not access orkut etc. So could some type of Firewall be affecting the problem and throwing the POST error message?
Also, I will try accessing this same page from home and will update if this problem does not occur, then there is a good chance that it would mean that the POST error message does have something to do with the Firewall at the office. -
Except for the measly firewall built into my old router, I am using no firewall to speak of. With the different variances that everyone is giving I don't think this is happening on the user's end. -
Inappropriate?Hi have the same problem too since 1 week (perhaps more?)
Go on twitter.com
Find and Follow tab, try with my 2 gmail accounts
And got the same as above.

Inappropriate?missing out on lots of new twitters guys. Anyone know a system like this that's more reliable than twitter - I need one urgently!
-
Inappropriate?yeah this is no good guys.. i set my account up last friday. 8/8/08
surely you can run a script to see which users joined within a particular bracket of time, and see how many contacts they have associated with their accounts? may point you to which users are affected or something like that..
though it may be a red herring. and im sure you guys probly tried that already anyway..and are working hard to resolve this

Inappropriate?hi, just joined and can not load contacts.
The steps i take to get to the error has been repeatedly detailed in the posts above as well as the browser, operating system, email account, number of contacts etc. I was excited to give it a try when i read about twitter but I will not invest any of my time in it until this is solved. Hope you get it soon.

Inappropriate? The error that we have all been seeing is now replaced with a nicely formated page with a heading stating "Something is technically wrong."
The URL of this new page has also changed to what we have become used to:
https://twitter.com/invitations/fetch...
So it would at least apper they have finally found where the error is kicking from. Maybe a fix is on our horizon...
Regards, Bawdo
I’m this is taking way too long to fix.
-
Inappropriate? Thanks for all of the information guys, we've got all we need and we're working on getting this fixed for everyone!
-
Inappropriate? It's still not fixed (but you know that). I've had the problem for the week or more, and kept trying every few days.
When I was persuaded to try Twitter again, I think I signed up without adding friends. Later in that initial session I added friends from gmail. The system only found a couple which wasn't surprising because gmail is just for backup and I don't use it much.
A couple of days later I imported one of my address books into gmail, adding a few hundred mail addresses at least. Then I tried to get Twitter to rifle through the gmail address book again, and this time I got the post error.
Other stuff I did: changed my username.
To get the post error, I go to https://twitter.com/invitations. My twitter email address and password are already filled in. They don't match the Google name and pass. I change the name and pass to my gmail ones and change the dropdown to gmail. Click Continue.
I'm sent to https://twitter.com/invitations/fetch.... The page shows "We're loading your contacts.
(It might take a bit longer if you're popular.)".
After about 5 to 10 seconds I'm forwarded to https://twitter.com/invitations/invit... and the dreaded 'This method requires a POST.' shows up.
Well, that's what was happening the day before yesterday. Now I get Twitter 'Something is technically wrong' page.
Same thing happens if I use a wrong gmail address and password.
Firefox3 on Ubuntu 8.04.
I’m very frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Signed up, nothing special, username schmoo2x if you want to check logs or anything - during the signup it asked me to provide email info to get the addressbook, so I entered my username (without the @gmail part) and selected "@gmail.com" in the dropdown, entered in my password and hit submit. It sent me to the "requires a POST" page after thinking for a bit.
I tried again today, and it sends me to a page that says "something is technically wrong." i'm assuming that you've now logged this. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions, i'm glad to help resolve this issue.
Ubuntu 8.04, most recent Kernel
Firefox 3.0.1
I’m kinda disappointed it's not fixed yet
-
Inappropriate?I've kind of lost interest in this now. Twitter here in the UK, and in a few other countries, have withdrawn their free SMS service which makes it about a 582 (a rough guess) times less useful than it was before. Can't say I'm surprised they've done this - I was wondering how the free SMS model worked. The answer is that it didn't.
My guess is that Twitter now have a major problem with cash flow and sorting out this little nasty is the least of their concerns.
Hey ho.
I’m living in the real world.
-
Inappropriate?I am new to Twitter. I am on my third day of membership so I am still trying to complete the initial import of my gmail address book so it will be useful to my colleagues and I.
I am running: Windows XP with Service Pack 3, Firefox 3.0.1, with ABP and GreaseMonkey disabled for Twitter. I have alternately tried importing with Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0.
Steps taken:
1. From http://twitter.com/home I choose the link "Find some friends and follow what they’re doing ".
2. It leads to http://twitter.com/invitations/
3. I fill in the "Your Email" box, the Email Password box, and choose the appropriate service. I have tried both my e-mail username and my e-mail address, i.e. naturalhazard and naturalhazard@gmail.com.
4. I hit continue.
5. The message "We're loading your contacts. (It might take a bit longer if you're popular.)" comes up for about five to ten seconds.
6. The error message "
Something is technically wrong. Thanks for noticing—we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon." comes up on the screen and nothing has been imported.
I can't fathom that you can't get this to replicate when it has happened so consistently for all of us on so many operating systems with various browsers. I really do hope this step-by-step helps because right now, I really can't see why any of my colleagues see any value in Twitter. I'm really hoping you will fix this so that will change.
All the best,
naturalhazards

Inappropriate?I am running Windows XP Professional with service pack 2, Firefox 2.0.0.16.
It plays out exactly as for naturalhazards above for me too. I'm also using gmail. Once though, I got the "You've got no contacts" instead of "Something is technically wrong." ...and I do have contacts.
Crossing fingers and feet so that you might be able to fix this!
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? This sucks! I'm wondering why I should bother with Twitter now.
I’m about to delete my account. I don't need the frustration!
-
Inappropriate?Same thing here. Mac OS10.4.11, Firefox 3.0.1 and GMail
Steps taken:
1. From http://twitter.com/home I choose the link "Find some friends and follow what they’re doing ".
2. It leads to http://twitter.com/invitations/
3. I fill in the "Your Email" box, the Email Password box, and choose the appropriate service. I have tried both my e-mail username and my e-mail address, i.e. naturalhazard and naturalhazard@gmail.com.
4. I hit continue.

Inappropriate?yep.... I'm getting tired of trying to import my gmail contacts and getting the same ol' error message. For 2 weeks now and if you trawl through this "help" site, it's been an on-off error for months!
Twitter are "working" on it... care for an update. Frankly, I'm with everyone else - what's the point in being here? The only thing Twitter does is duplicate the status update on Facebook and FB is not only WAY more useful, it actually works! Cya later Twitter. You guys suck.
I’m leaving

Inappropriate?Seriously, how hard could it be to fix this bug? It's not like Twitter is all that complicated.
Also, what company just lets a bug like this persist for weeks? Way to go on impressing your new users, myself included.
I’m stupid because I keep hoping this will get resolved
-
Inappropriate? The steps described above are the same for me.
1. Find & Follow - https://twitter.com/invitations
2. Enter my email username, and password. Select Gmail.
3a. Loader with the text,
"We're loading your contacts.
(It might take a bit longer if you're popular.) "
3b. Sometimes Text indicating that I have no contacts.
4. Twitter / Error. Landing here https://twitter.com/invitations/fetch.... "Something is technically wrong.
Thanks for noticing—we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon."
Some sort of timeline? Maybe hide the feature until it's fixed?
Thanks for your help.
I’m frustrated but understanding
-
Inappropriate?1. "Find & Follow"
2. email "@ gmail", and enter my password.
3. continue
4. Loading
5. https://twitter.com/invitations/fetch...
"Something is Technically Wrong"
Windows XP and Firefox -
Inappropriate?Same as Jennifer. I am using Mac OS X 10.4.11 and on Safari 3.1.2
Hope that helps :)
I’m OMG!!!

Inappropriate?Think twitter is failing.
Honestly folks with modern debuggers, loggers and the like it takes a developer between 15-45 mins to find a problem like this. Then depending on their skill it can take another 1min to 2 hours to come up with an elegant fix. Then depending on the rigidness of their release process (obviously not that rigid or this bug would have shown up in testing). They run automated testing 1-24 hours depending on depth of testing. Dump into a pre-prod test bed 1-24 hours. Test away, Have a go-no-go meeting 1 hour. Release the fix. Honestly guys it's a half day to 3 day job depending on the complexity of your release process. Get it sorted. You're flagging here and as a new user I agree with most comments posted here. You're not instilling people with confidence in your product.
You should either have the feature present and working or not have it at all and only add it again once you've fixed the problem. It's a serious show stopper. If you can't figure it out work around it and add another feature like find friends from an exported address book file (csv, vCard, abbu and other common address book formats)

this solves the problem

I 100% completely and totally agree with Keith on this one. Also, working as a developer on a newer social site, I can say we had to make these decisions. We discovered it's far better to not have a feature than to have a feature that didn't work well.
Also, This is a real show-stopper! I've always thought the idea behind Twitter wa rather comical, but from the increased coverage on the subject, I thought - I better find out what I'm missing. Is all I'm missing is a POS system? Well, I could have done without that one. Without anyway of finding my friends, there is ABSOLUTELY no point in using this service.
I find it ridiculous that it has taken this long to fix, and there's not even any mention of the problem besides this thread. And on this thread, the official response is that everything is working - when we know that is not the case. Get your act together and act like you deserve to be here! -
Inappropriate?Hoping you guys will resolve this sometime soon, since I'm just getting started on twitter and trying to spread the word.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? We just pushed another fix for this problem. Please let me know if that helps or if issues remain.
-
Works with Gmail but Yahoo still returns the same error, but instead of the cute technical problem page, it's back to "This method requires a POST." -
MSN still not working -
Inappropriate?Worked for me!!!
Thanks Jason, and the team. -
Inappropriate?I just tried both gmail and yahoo and I have the same old outcome. The nice technical problem page is gone and "This method requires a POST." is back.
Mac OS 10.4.11 Firefox 3.0.1
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?"this method requires a post" yeah its is back, im starting to rethink twitter. anyone up for jaiku? its almost the same thing lol!
I’m officially over it!
-
Inappropriate?I use iTunes and Plaxo to keep more or less the same address book info across accounts in Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail, all mapping back to my Mac.
NONE of the addressbook importing methods work in Twitter. I either get the cute graphic saying something is wrong or "This method requires POST" or somesuch.
I’m Disappointed
-
Inappropriate?I just signed up and I'm gettting the "This method requires POST" error when trying to import hotmail contacts.
Using XP Pro + Firefox 3.0.1 (with NoScripts addon)
I’m like whatever
-
Inappropriate?exactly like what paul just described:
"just signed up and I'm gettting the "This method requires POST" error when trying to import hotmail contacts.
Using XP Pro + Firefox 3.0.1" -
Inappropriate?Find + Follow, entered email addy, chose GMail from drop down, typed in password, loading on /fetch_contacts, "This method requires a POST" on http://twitter.com/invitations/invite...
Using Safari 3.1.2 on OS 10.5.4
I’m totally unimpressed
-
Inappropriate? The error has changed. Now, instead of the "POST" error, I get a screen which *ought* to be the list of contacts extracted from my outside mail account (Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail etc). Except, the list is empty, with one tickbox for "select all" but thers are no items in the list! Is this progress? Perhaps.
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate? No longer getting the error screen, good old "This method requires a POST." is back.. (Using gmail)
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?same as nathan, I get a supposed screen that 'should' be a list of contact but... with no contacts to select except one "select all" box.
Have to say I'm pretty fed up. I'll be deleting my account as it really serves no purpose to me in this state. Not to mention the discontinuation of phone updates in the UK.
I’m almost laughing
-
Inappropriate?I'm having the same problem as everyone else. My email is rndmideas@gmail.com and my twitter name is Tristansmith. it happens with both gmail and yahoo. I've tried it on mobile safari, safari, internet explorer and firefox 2 and 3. same results. I'd be More that happy to provide any additional information if needed.
I'm not a computer expret, but any chance this problem is IP related? maybe a bad connection in the routing table? maybe that's why the folks at twitter cant replicate the problem. -
Inappropriate?I get the message not only for my Gmail but also Hotmail account.
This happens in Firefox. Tried switching to IE, gives me "page cannot be found" where "This method requires a POST" used to be. -
same here!
