We don't want "see all @ replies" reinstated as the default!
So, Twitter recently removed the options regarding who see what @ replies. This caused a bit of an uproar. Their new default was you'd only see @ replies FROM people you follow TO people you follow.
Now, they are going backwards and making it so you'll see @ replies FROM people you follow to EVERYONE!

For me personally, this will make Twitter almost unusable. The signal to noise ratio will be off the chart.
They claim eventually they'll make this a per-user setting. Not sure about everyone else, but I only follow a few hundred people, and have no desire to go through and change this manually for every single user I follow.
Please Twitter, rethink.

I have this problem, too!
Tell me when someone solves it.
The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate?Actually, it only shows the @ replies that are not created via implicitly replying to a post. If I were to just type in the name in the box, everyone'd see it. But, if I made it a reply to the post by clicking the little arrow button on a post, only people following that person would see it.
So, really, it's halfway between, but since the majority of @replies (That I see, anyway) are of the second type, it's still much closer to the changes instated Tuesday than of the 'view all @ replies' setting. -
Inappropriate? This change is NOT GOOD!! I don't want all my followers seeing what i send as an @ reply to a specific person!!!! And I also don't want my timeline filled up with @ replies from others. This is a REALLY REALLY bad change! I respectfully request that @ replies be changed back to be between the sender and receiver only.
I’m Really mad
