Confine tracking program to menu bar (Mac OS X)
Any way to get the tracker program (Mac OS X) to show up in the menu bar, but not the Command-Tab application switcher? One example of a tracking program that currently does this is last.fm's iScrobbler. It starts with boot-up, runs from the menu bar, but never shows up in application switcher.

Inappropriate? This is possible by going into the preferences of the tracker and checking the box next to 'Disable dock icon'. To enable this, be sure to quit and restart the tracker-applications.
