Unfortunately, it will not be possible to keep your existing VPS account exactly as-is after the WestHost 4.0 transition. Sometime in the future, all clients to either be migrated to our new WestHost 4.0 platform, which is shared hosting through cPanel, or to a true root VPS through our sister company, VPS.net. Existing WestHost clients are eligible for a discount on VPS.net service; contact the WestHost sales department for more information about this.

While we have no specific dates for the WestHost 4.0 transition yet, please rest assured that we will be sending out plenty of detailed information as soon as we finalize the WestHost 4.0 platform and have more information on the migration process. As a very rough estimate, we expect that migrations will begin sometime during the next 6 - 12 months and last approximately 6 months from the start date.

so will now westhost allow 3.0 framework to be kept as my first post stated, so we don't have to upgrade Nick?
