another Q- anyone know how to make wordpress load a secondary page instead of the main blog page? (ie the "About" page) ???

Inappropriate?Silentfool, (in 2.5) go to your admin page > settings > reading and then it should be obvious
Alternatively just do to [Yourblogurl]/wp-admin/options-reading.php

Inappropriate?It is not that easy. I have been playing around with those settings and can't get it to work. I want the tabs to go this way Home / Products / Blog
If you look at the situation I have now it is Home equals Products and my Blog disappears.

How do I get rid of the Home page or edit it. I don't see it in my page manager section? -
Inappropriate?You need to edit your header file, where the php call is to list the pages and exclude the home page.
Go to the wordpress codex and look for the wp_list_pages function
