Roger, I checked in our logs and it seems that your browser doesn't send us "referrer" address and because of this we fail for your browser. Are you using any special privacy settings?
On the same note, we realize that this is a problem. We're releasing a new version of reblog that has new techniques to solve this, so it will automatically work better for all cases of reblog button.
If it bothers you a lot, you can also manually delete it, or change preferences for new post from Zemanta widget by selecting Preferences and then choosing a different option.

Inappropriate? No, you don't have to do anything, but we should. Right now it usually takes a certain amount of time between blog post and reblog for it to work.
We are working on at least significantly reducing if not completely removing this lag, but in the meantime we should at least better communicate what is happening and why.
Thank you for letting us know.

MArko,
It has now been over 17 hours since the post was published. I continue to get the same result, Is this the normal lag time you are referring to? -
Inappropriate?Roger, just a quick extra note that now reblog button works on your page.
The only thing to watch for is that we can only work on published posts, if you're clicking on it while previewing post, we can't work since we can't fetch the contents of the post. -
Jure,
I included the url for the blog post when I described my problem. This has nothing to do with previewing the post. It has now been over 17 hours and the button still takes me to an error page. -

Inappropriate?Thanks Jure,
Your information was very helpful.
I tried other browsers with the same result. However, since you thought it might be privacy settings, I checked Norton Internet Security (which I currently use). When I turned off "Privacy Control" the reblog capability worked as advertised.
Will the new method overcome this or will it only work for those who do not have privacy control set?
Thanks again for your help.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?New method should work for everyone, even if privacy control is set. We can let you know when it's available so you can test it yourself.
